Choose your café barrier system by run length

Every cafe barrier system comes in a variety of widths, 1000mm, 1500mm and 2000mm rails, with a single or double-sided banner. Pick the number of custom printed banners you need to enclose your seating area, then the finish. The material you choose for the banner does not change the price.

Banner material

PVC, polyester or mesh café barrier graphic

Each customisable cafe barrier graphic is printed in full colour with your logo, menu or offer, so the barrier keeps promoting your brand all day. You choose the banner material at no extra cost. Fire rated graphic materials are listed on the kit pages.

Choose single sided print to face the street, or a double sided Blackback banner so the message reads from your outdoor area and from the pavement. On the heavy duty kits, posts and bases are stainless steel, at about 2kg per post and 11kg per base, and assemble with a spanner.

  • 440gsm PVC, the heaviest banner
  • 210gsm display polyester, a fabric finish
  • 115gsm aero mesh, lightweight and weather resistant
  • Durable stainless steel posts with a black finish or polished chrome
  • One year warranty on the hardware, excluding the graphic

Frequently asked questions

Who uses cafe barriers?
Hospitality venues such as cafés, coffee shops, pubs, restaurants, bars and nightclubs use them to mark out outdoor dining areas and separate seated customers from people walking past. They also suit festivals and outdoor events, and the printed banners promote your business at the same time.
What is included in a cafe barrier kit?
Posts, weighted bases, rails and printed banners. A one section kit has two posts, two bases, two rails and one banner. Each extra section adds a post, a base, two rails and a banner. Economy kits use one crossbar per section, with spring clips that hold the banner to the posts.
What is the difference between the black and chrome kits?
Only the finish of the posts and bases. Bistro, Mocha, Espresso and Cortado are matte black. Latte, Chai, Frappe and Macchiato are polished chrome. Sizes, banners and hardware are otherwise the same.
Which banner material should I choose?
The 440gsm PVC is the heaviest, 210gsm display polyester gives a fabric finish and 115gsm aero mesh is lightweight and weather resistant. All three cost the same. Economy kits come with display polyester or fabric mesh, also at the same price.
Can I get a double sided café banner?
Yes. Every kit is offered with a double sided Blackback banner at each rail width, so customers seated inside and people walking past both see your branding.
Which banner is best for a windy spot?
Aero mesh. It is the lightest of the three materials and is weather resistant, so it suits exposed sites. Bring barriers inside in high winds.
Can I add more sections later?
Yes. The extension kit adds one post, one base, two rails and a printed banner to an existing run. It comes in black or a silver chrome finish at 1000mm, 1500mm or 2000mm, and the economy kits have their own extension kits in the same widths.
Are cafe barriers suitable for outdoor use?
Yes. Every kit is listed for indoor and outdoor use, so the same barrier systems also work for queue management and light crowd control inside a venue or at events.
How quickly can I get my cafe barriers?
Printed and dispatched within 5 days with express options available. FREE UK delivery on orders of £200 or more.
