Custom exhibition stands built around your brand
Tell us about your stand space, your brand and what the stand needs to do, and we'll design a custom exhibition stand to fit it. We build each one from reusable modular frames, printed fabric graphics, lightbox walls and counters, so you get a stand that looks made for you without paying for a one-off build every show.

- A visual and a written quote before you order
- Reusable frames you can reconfigure

Custom built exhibition stands without the one-off build
There are two ways to get a custom exhibition stand. Exhibition stand builders and design and build contractors make a one-off structure, often in timber, for a single show. It can look great, but you pay for the design, build, transport, installation and disposal every time, and the stand rarely gets used again.
We do it differently. Your stand design starts from scratch with your exhibition space and your brand. We then create an exhibition stand from aluminium frames, graphic panels, LED lightbox walls, counters, shelving and lighting, and handle the project management from design to delivery. The systems can be reconfigured into different configurations, so the same frame works on a different plot at your next exhibition, and you only reprint the graphics when your message changes.
That makes a bespoke exhibition stand cost-efficient if you exhibit a few times a year, and it cuts the waste that comes with single-use builds. There's more on that in our guide to reusable exhibition stand design. If you only need a stand for one trade show, our exhibition stand hire service is usually the better fit.
The frames, graphics and displays in a bespoke exhibition stand
Every custom build uses display systems we already supply, chosen and laid out for your space, so you can personalise the whole stand without paying for a one-off structure. These are the pieces most of our stand designs use.
Frame systems
Aluminium frames that make straight, curved and corner walls for anything from a small booth to a large exhibition space. See our modular exhibition stands.
Fabric graphics
Full colour dye-sublimation prints on polyester fabric, made to fit each frame exactly and easy to reprint when your branding changes. Browse fabric walls.
LED lightbox walls
Backlit fabric walls that make your graphics glow and help the stand stand out in a busy hall. See LED backlit walls or read fabric vs LED.
Counters and shelving
Branded counters and shelves for demos, samples and leaflets, sized to match the rest of the stand. Browse exhibition counters.
Hanging banners
Circular, square and triangular fabric banners hung above the stand so visitors can find you from across the hall. See hanging banners.
Screens, lighting and furniture
Screen mounts, spotlights and furniture to finish the stand and give visitors somewhere to talk. Browse exhibition furniture.
How custom exhibition stand design works with us
Send your brief
Your stand size, the show, your deadline and any brand guidelines or rough sketch. A photo of a stand you like helps too.
We design it
Our design team works out the layout and your graphics, then sends you a visual and a written quote so you can see the stand before you commit.
You approve it
Up to three rounds of amends on artwork we design. Once you accept the quote by email, your stand goes into production.
Your stand arrives
Delivered ready for your team to put up, and the frames pack away for the next show.
Custom modular stand or a one-off custom-built exhibition stand
Both are custom exhibition stands, and we supply the first. The difference is what happens after the show.
Custom modular stand
- Designed for your stand space and brand
- Reusable aluminium frames you can reconfigure
- Reprint only the graphics when your message changes
- Put up by your own team, usually without tools
- At least a one-year warranty on every product
One-off custom-built stand
- Designed for one show and one exhibition space
- Built on site by exhibition stand contractors
- Design, build and transport paid for every time
- Usually scrapped, or stored at a cost, afterwards
- Suits very large flagship stands with complex structures
Not sure which you need? Send us the brief anyway. If a one-off build would suit you better, we'll tell you. If you're only exhibiting once, look at exhibition stand hire instead.

- Number of open sides
- Logo and brand guidelines
- What the stand needs to do
- Budget range
- Deadline
- Photos of stands you like
Free design for your stand graphics
FREE artwork design or proofing on every order. If you have your own designer, we'll send the artwork template for each part of the stand and check the files for resolution and DPI before anything is printed. Our artwork guidelines explain what we need.
If you don't, our in-house design team will lay out every graphic from your logo and brand guidelines, with up to three rounds of amends included. More on our graphic design service.

Working on a stand for a client?
We work as a white label production partner for marketing and creative agencies, with trade pricing and one point of contact who knows your account. Your agency keeps the client and takes the credit.

How much does a custom exhibition stand cost?
It depends on the size of your stand space, how many walls it has and whether you add lightboxes, counters or screens. Because we build from reusable frames, a custom modular stand usually costs less than a one-off build, and the saving grows every time you reuse it. We quote every custom stand in writing, and our guide to trade show booth costs shows typical UK budgets.
How do I know what my custom exhibition stand will look like?
We send you a visual of the stand with your artwork on it, along with the written quote, before you order. Nothing goes to print until you've approved the artwork.
Are custom exhibition stands worth it?
If you exhibit a few times a year, usually yes. A stand designed for your space and brand looks far more professional than a couple of banners, and a custom stand built on a modular frame can be reused, so the cost is spread across every show. If you only exhibit once, hiring is normally better value.
Can I reuse a custom stand at different shows?
Yes. We can plan a layout for your main plot and a smaller version for regional events using the same frames. You only need new graphics when your branding or message changes.
Do you install custom stands?
Most of the systems we use are designed for your own team to put up without specialist tools. If you'd like us to install and take down your stand, tell us when you send the brief and we'll include it in the quote where we can.
Can you store my stand between shows?
We don't offer storage. The frames and graphics pack down into bags or cases, so the whole stand fits in an office or store room until the next show.
How is a custom stand different from a pop up stand?
Pop up stands and portable exhibition stands are ready-made trade show displays in set sizes. They're quick to put up and work well on smaller plots. A custom exhibition stand is laid out for your exact space, so it can cover open sides, combine walls, counters, lightboxes and a hanging banner, and look like one designed stand rather than separate pieces. If a ready-made display stand does the job, we'll point you to our pop up stands instead.
Do you build one-off timber stands?
No. We design custom stands from modular display systems rather than one-off structures. For most exhibitors that's the better value, but for a very large flagship stand an exhibition stand builder may be the right choice, and we'll say so.
