Each one is a printed fabric backdrop for your exhibition stand, and like all our printed backdrops it sits on a reusable frame that goes up for the event and packs away after it. The frame decides how quickly it builds, how it travels and how far you can change the layout later.

Where a fabric backdrop stand fits on a trade show stand

An exhibition wall is the backdrop of your exhibition stand: the large printed backwall visitors see from the aisle, so your brand and main message sit behind the people talking to them.

On a space only plot the frame and fabric form the back wall of the stand. Inside a panelled exhibition booth it stands in front of the plain panels and covers them with your brand.

Sizing

Backdrop sizes for small and space only stands

Most exhibitors start by measuring the width of the floor plot, then checking the organiser height limit. Most of the range stands 2m to 2.5m tall, and the tallest frames go up to 3.28m.

Pop up sizes such as 3x4 describe the frame grid: three panels high by four panels wide.

A 2m straight pop up or fabric backdrop

A 2m or 2.4m fabric or curved frame, or a 3x3 pop up at 2.26m wide.

A 3m exhibition stand backdrop

A 3m fabric or curved frame, or a 3x4 pop up at 2.99m wide. The usual fabric backdrop stand for a 3m x 3m exhibition space.

6m

A 6m run of display walls

A 6m fabric frame at 5.98m wide, or several frames joined into one continuous run.

Frequently asked questions

Which exhibition wall should I choose?
Start with the width of your floor plot and the organiser height limit. Choose a pop up stand for the quickest one piece build, tension fabric for the lightest seamless exhibition display, a reconfigurable frame if your stand size changes between shows, and backlit for dim halls.
Are pop ups or fabric exhibition walls better?
Both are good display stand choices, so it comes down to how you exhibit. Pop ups open in one piece and suit an exhibitor doing frequent shows. Fabric walls are lighter and come in more widths, which makes them the easier portable display to carry by hand. Straight pop up and curved versions are both available.
What is a pop-up stand?
A pop up stand is a folding frame that opens out in one piece, with a printed graphic fixed over the front and wrapped round the ends. It is one of the quickest exhibition backdrops to build and packs into a wheeled case. Our pop up display walls come in straight and curved versions.
How much does an exhibition stand backdrop cost?
Prices start from £213.95 ex VAT and rise with width, frame type and lighting. The cards above show the starting price for each type of wall, and each product page lists its exact price.
How long does set-up take?
Most build by hand without tools. WaveLine frames are listed at 5 to 10 minutes, and the SEG pop up wall with LED light at around 10 minutes.
Are they fire rated?
Many of our pop up, fabric and curved walls use fabric rated DIN 4102-1 B1. The rating is listed in each product's specification, so check it against your venue's rules.
What sizes are available?
From about 0.42m modular panels to 6m wide. Most are 2m to 2.5m tall and the tallest frames go up to 3.28m. Pop up sizes such as 3x4 mean three panels high by four panels wide, except on ranges named width first, where a 4x3 is four panels wide.
Can they be customised with lights?
Yes. Clip on LED lights fit the WaveLine and tension fabric frames, the SEG pop up wall is available with LED lighting built in, and backlit walls light the whole graphic from inside.
Can I reuse the frame with a new design?
Yes. The frames are reusable, so you can order a new printed graphic for the same frame when your branding or campaign changes.
Can I use an exhibition wall on a small stand with fixed walls?
Yes. A freestanding exhibition wall stands in front of the panels and gives you a full custom printed back wall without fixing anything to them. Check the organiser height limit and your stand depth first.
What is the difference between an exhibition wall and a roller banner?
A roller banner stand is a single retractable banner, usually up to around 2m wide. An exhibition wall is a larger fabric backdrop, up to 6m wide, that forms the whole back of the stand. Many exhibitors use both, with roller banners at the front of the booth.
