Tension fabric banners

Why choose a printed fabric banner

Our custom fabric printing uses dye-sublimation printing, which bonds the ink into the polyester fabric. You get vibrant colour that is long-lasting, a surface with no glare, and a textile that folds without cracking the way a PVC banner can. The result is an eye-catching, full-colour display.

  • Many of our fabric graphics are DIN 4102-1 B1 fire rated, including Soft Touch, Pegasus, pop-out and Bannerbow
  • Soft Touch and Pegasus graphics are machine washable at 30°C
  • Pegasus and oval pop-out banners are printed on 210gsm 100% recycled fabric
  • The frames are reusable, so you can order a new graphic when your campaign changes

Frequently asked questions

What is a fabric banner?
A fabric banner is a full colour graphic printed onto a textile and displayed on a frame, pole or stand. Ours come as complete displays, from tension frames and pop-out banners to flags and backlit lightboxes.
Is fabric better for indoor banners?
For exhibitions, often yes. Fabric is lighter, folds without creasing, has no glare under lights and many of our fabrics carry a B1 fire rating. Roller banners with a block out graphic are a lower cost choice for simple indoor use.
Can fabric banners be used outdoors?
Some can. Pop-out banners and the Bannerbow are listed for indoor and outdoor use and come with ground pegs or an outdoor base. Tension frames, flags and lightboxes are for indoor displays.
Can I wash a fabric banner?
Soft Touch and Pegasus graphics are machine washable at 30°C with little or no detergent. Do not tumble dry, and iron on low heat on the reverse.
What sizes do fabric banners come in?
Fabric banners are available from a 400mm wide pop-out banner size and A2 wall frames up to 2400mm wide Pegasus frames and a 3000mm wide Bannerbow. Each product page lists the exact graphic size.
Can I print a different design on each side?
Yes on several ranges. Pop-out banners, Soft Touch, WaveLine and bowhead flags have double sided options, so you can use multiple designs.
Do you print loose fabric banners with eyelets or a pole pocket?
No. We do not offer loose banners with an eyelet finish or a pole pocket for hanging. Every banner here is a complete display with its own frame or stand, which is easier to set up at an event.
How do I supply artwork for fabric?
Use the template on the product page and supply a print-ready PDF in CMYK. If you do not have artwork, our design team can create custom designs for you and send a proof to approve.
How quickly can I get a fabric banner?
Turnaround is quick. Printed and dispatched within 5 days with express options available, once your proof is approved.
