An 800mm wide Modulate door frame, 2m high, that adds a hinged door to your display so you can close off a storeroom, a meeting space or a place for coats and stock. The door is covered in your printed fabric graphic, so it blends into the walls around it. Square corners give the door frame crisp, sharp edges that line up neatly with other square-cornered frames.

Printed single-sided

This version is printed single-sided. A single-sided graphic has a plain white back, which suits a door that is only seen from the front. A double-sided graphic carries your design on both faces, so the frame looks finished from behind too. For bright venues, ask us about a blockout liner that stops light showing through the fabric.

Joins the frames beside it

The door frame uses the same 30mm aluminium tube and push-button joints as the other frames in the range, and magnets in the upright let it snap onto the frames beside it without tools. The door swings on a hinge, with handle knobs on both faces and a knob on the foot that acts as a door stop. Feet are included, and the graphic slides over and zips shut at the base like the other frames.

Packs into a padded bag

The door frame packs into a padded bag with pockets for the feet and the graphic. The 260gsm dye-sublimation fabric can be washed, folded and reprinted when your branding changes.

Finish Stretches slightly as it goes on, so it sits tight over the frame with very few creases.
Opaque Liner An opaque liner fitted behind the graphic, so light and the frame do not show through from behind.

Reuse and recycling

  • The aluminium frame is modular, so it can be rebuilt in a different layout and dressed with new graphics for your next event, and aluminium can be recycled at the end of its life.
  • Your fabric graphic can be washed and reused, and when your design changes a new print fits the same frame.
  • We print by dye sublimation with water-based inks, so the colour is fused into the fabric and will not crack or peel.
  • Polyester fabric can be recycled through specialist textile recycling schemes, though not in household collections.

Instructions and technical sheets

Supplying your own artwork

If you would rather send a finished file than use our free design service, set it up like this.

  • Use the template above. It is drawn at quarter size (1:4), so keep it at that size and do not change its proportions: we scale it up when we print.
  • Set your colours in CMYK and send a high quality print PDF.
  • Images look best at 72 to 125dpi at full print size, which is about 300 to 500dpi inside a quarter-size template.
  • Run your background 3mm past the cut line and keep text and logos inside the safe area.
  • Outline all fonts. Keep text at least 3mm high and lines at least 2mm thick.
  • Send one design per file. A double-sided graphic needs a file for each side.
  • Hide the instructions layer and remove the template lines before you export.

The fabric wraps round the frame tubes, so the template shows the visible face inside a larger print size. Keep text and logos inside the visible face, and for a double-sided graphic send each side as its own file.
