An LED hanging lightbox, 5m wide and 1.25m high, that hangs above your stand or shop floor and glows with your design. Edge-lit LEDs inside a 125mm aluminium frame spread light evenly across the graphic, so your brand stands out in exhibition halls, retail spaces and busy commercial areas.

Even, bright light

LED strips are fitted inside the 125mm deep profile and light the fabric from the edges, so the whole graphic glows without hot spots. The LEDs are energy efficient and connect to their drivers by matching markings, then to the mains through a grommet in the frame.

Your printed graphics

We print your design on backlit polyester fabric with a silicone edge that presses into the frame channel. The frame has a channel on both faces, so it can carry a graphic on each side for viewing from both directions. Fabric graphics are easy to change for seasonal campaigns.

Assembly and hanging

The aluminium profile is light for its size. Corners and joints fix together with Allen keys using the assembly markings, and reinforcing bars clip in to keep it rigid. Suspension pitons are included. Cables are not, as these usually come from the venue or its rigging contractor.

Reuse and recycling

  • The aluminium frame is made to be put up and taken down event after event, and aluminium can be recycled at the end of its life.
  • Your fabric graphic can be washed and reused, and when your design changes a new print fits the same frame.
  • Polyester fabric can be recycled through specialist textile recycling schemes, though not in household collections.
  • The LED lighting is energy efficient, and because the graphic can be replaced the lightbox stays in use long after its first campaign.

Instructions and technical sheets

Supplying your own artwork

If you would rather send a finished file than use our free design service, set it up like this.

  • Use the template above. It is drawn at quarter size (1:4), so keep it at that size and do not change its proportions: we scale it up when we print.
  • Set your colours in CMYK and send a high quality print PDF.
  • Images look best at 72 to 125dpi at full print size, which is about 300 to 500dpi inside a quarter-size template.
  • Run your background 3mm past the cut line and keep text and logos inside the safe area.
  • Outline all fonts. Keep text at least 3mm high and lines at least 2mm thick.
  • Send one design per file. A double-sided graphic needs a file for each side.
  • Hide the instructions layer and remove the template lines before you export.

Your graphic has a thin silicone strip sewn round its edge that pushes into the frame channel, so the print is slightly larger than the area you see. The template shows both sizes: keep text and logos inside the safe area.
