A 1m by 1m lightbox that fixes flat to a wall and sits just 75mm deep. It turns a plain wall in a shop, reception, showroom or bar into a bright branded feature, and the graphic can be changed while the frame stays on the wall.

Lit evenly from the edges

The LED strips are fitted inside the aluminium profile at the factory and light the fabric from its edges, so your design glows evenly from corner to corner. The drivers are hidden inside the frame. If you build a run of lightboxes side by side, the lighting connects from one frame to the next, so the whole run needs only one power point.

Fixing it to the wall

The frame sections are colour-coded and join with an Allen key, with the locks and lights already in place. You then screw the frame to the wall through holes drilled every 500mm. Screws and wall plugs are not included, as the right fixings depend on your wall, so pick ones to suit plasterboard, brick or timber. On an uneven wall we suggest a blockout liner behind the graphic to stop light spilling round the edges.

Changing the graphic

Your design is printed on backlit fabric with a silicone strip sewn round its edge. Press the corners into the channel first, then the middle of each side, then work outwards to the corners. To update it, pull the old graphic out and press the new one in. The frame never has to come off the wall.

Reuse and recycling

  • The aluminium frame is made to be put up and taken down event after event, and aluminium can be recycled at the end of its life.
  • Your fabric graphic can be washed and reused, and when your design changes a new print fits the same frame.
  • Polyester fabric can be recycled through specialist textile recycling schemes, though not in household collections.
  • The blockout liner stays in the lightbox from one campaign to the next; only the printed graphic changes.

Instructions and technical sheets

Supplying your own artwork

If you would rather send a finished file than use our free design service, set it up like this.

  • Use the template above. It is drawn at quarter size (1:4), so keep it at that size and do not change its proportions: we scale it up when we print.
  • Set your colours in CMYK and send a high quality print PDF.
  • Images look best at 72 to 125dpi at full print size, which is about 300 to 500dpi inside a quarter-size template.
  • Run your background 3mm past the cut line and keep text and logos inside the safe area.
  • Outline all fonts. Keep text at least 3mm high and lines at least 2mm thick.
  • Send one design per file. A double-sided graphic needs a file for each side.
  • Hide the instructions layer and remove the template lines before you export.

Your graphic has a thin silicone strip sewn round its edge that pushes into the frame channel, so the print is slightly larger than the area you see. The template shows both sizes: keep text and logos inside the safe area. The unprinted blockout liner behind your graphic needs no artwork.

Are screws and wall plugs included?

No. The frame screws to the wall through holes every 500mm, but screws and wall plugs are not included, as the right fixings depend on your wall.

How long will it take to arrive?

Printed and dispatched within 5 days with express options available. The 5 working days start once you've approved your artwork. If you approve after 2pm, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, they start from the next working day. UK delivery then takes 1-2 working days after dispatch.
