Every one of our custom hanging banners is a printed stretch fabric graphic pulled tight over a lightweight aluminium frame and suspended from the venue ceiling or truss. The result is an eye-catching hanging display, and the shape decides how many faces your brand gets and how it reads from each aisle.

Circular hanging banners

Sizing

Hanging banner sizes for every exhibition stand

Blimps come in standard sizes given in feet across and inches deep, so an 8ft x 24in banner is about 2.44m wide with a 610mm deep graphic. Keep the banner inside your stand footprint seen from above and check the organiser's size and height rules before you order.

A deeper graphic carries a bigger logo, so choose 42in or 48in when the banner has to be read across a large exhibition hall. Our guide to hanging banner sizes covers the standard sizes and weights in more detail.

3m x 3m stand

An 8ft blimp at 2.44m across, or the 1.8m circular structure for a lighter look.

4m

4m to 5m stand

A 10ft or 12ft blimp at 3m to 3.57m, or a 3m circular or triangle structure.

Printing

Single or double sided hanging banners

Hanging banners lift your brand above the crowd and leave the valuable floor space below free for visitors, counters and product. Because people walk underneath them, the print choice matters as much as the shape.

A single-sided banner is printed in full colour on the outside with a plain white interior. Double-sided printing adds your design to the inside too, so it looks finished from below or from a balcony.

Frequently asked questions

Which hanging banner shape should I choose?
Match the shape to the open sides of your stand. A circular banner reads the same from every aisle, a square gives a flat face to each of four aisles, a triangle suits a corner or peninsula stand and a rectangle follows a long stand.
Are hanging banners printed on both sides?
You choose. A single-sided print covers the outside with a white interior. Double-sided printing adds your design to the inside too, so the banner looks finished when visitors stand underneath it. Most blimps and every hanging structure are sold both ways.
What are your hanging banners made of?
Blimps use dye-sublimation printed poly stretch fabric on a 32mm cold drawn anodised aluminium frame. Hanging structures use 220gsm stretch display polyester on a push-fit aluminium tube frame, B1 fire rated and machine washable at 30°C.
Why choose fabric over PVC hanging banners?
A PVC banner is a flat sheet with hems along the top and bottom edges and an eyelet in each corner, so it shows one face and crease in transit. Our fabric hanging banners wrap a 3D frame, so your brand shows on every side, the stretched graphic stays crease free and the kit packs into a carry bag for the next trade show.
How are hanging banners for exhibitions hung?
Blimps come with a hanging harness and quick release cables, and hanging structures include securing hooks. They hang from the venue ceiling or truss. Many venues only let their appointed rigging contractor hang banners, so book a hanging point through your organiser early. We supply the banner; we do not hang it.
What if the venue does not allow hanging?
Choose a blimp tower. It stands on your stand and carries the blimp above it, from 3.5m to 4.5m tall. The XL towers also have a zip-open door with storage inside.
Can I reuse a hanging banner?
Yes. The frames are reusable, and blimp and tower hardware has a lifetime warranty, so the same banner can go to trade shows and events for years.
