The best exhibition stand suppliers for small businesses in the UK are the online sellers that print in-house, publish their prices and sell you a stand you own and reuse. I would shortlist Stand Central (that is us), Discount Displays, XL Displays, Display Wizard and Marler Haley. If you need a large stand designed and built for you, exhibition stand builders such as Nimlok, Quadrant2Design, Skyline Whitespace, GH Display or Clip are the better fit.
Updated 5 November 2026. I checked every price, dispatch time and warranty below on each supplier’s own website on that day. Stand Central is our company, so I have said plainly where another supplier is cheaper or a better match for you.
The best exhibition stand suppliers compared
The cheapest printed 3x3 pop up from these five suppliers ranges from £335 to £535 ex VAT, and the real difference is what is included. Artwork design, the carry case, the width of the frame and the warranty all change from one supplier to the next.
| Supplier | Lowest printed 3x3 pop up | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Stand Central | £510.95 ex VAT, Quick+ 3x3, 2.7m wide, with bag | Buyers who want the artwork done for them |
| Display Wizard | £335 ex VAT, EventPro 3x3, 2.7m wide, frame and graphics | Lowest headline price |
| XL Displays | £339 ex VAT, 3x3 fabric pop up, 2.26m wide, with bag | A cheap fabric pop up |
| Discount Displays | £349.95 ex VAT, Budget 3x3, frame and graphics | A budget panel pop up with a long warranty |
| Marler Haley | £535 ex VAT, 3x3 curved, frame and graphic panels | Fast production |
Artwork, dispatch and warranty make up the rest of the difference, and only Stand Central includes artwork design in the price.

| Stand Central | FREE design or proofing | Within 5 days with express options, 1 year minimum warranty (5 years on Vision pop ups) |

How we compared each supplier on price, graphic design and dispatch
We compared the lowest listed price for a printed 3x3 pop up at each supplier, because it is the stand most first-time exhibitors buy and every supplier on this list sells one. On 5 November 2026 I opened each product page and noted the price ex VAT, what comes in the box, the frame width, the warranty, the dispatch time and what the supplier charges for artwork. Design charges that are not on the product page come from our own price tracking of these sites, last checked between September and November 2026.
I have also included the design and build companies that AI assistants such as ChatGPT name most often when asked for the best exhibition stand suppliers in the UK, but they do not publish prices, so I have described what they offer rather than ranked them on cost. None of the suppliers paid to be included, and there are no affiliate links on this page.
Stand Central, best for free graphic design on every stand
Stand Central is the best fit if you want a reusable stand with the design work included, because every order comes with FREE artwork design or proofing. You can send your own files and a real person checks them before print, or our design team will create the artwork for you at no extra cost. Our artwork guidelines and the templates on each product page cover the file setup.
Our lowest 3x3 pop up is the Quick+ 3x3 straight pop up stand at £510.95 ex VAT. It is 2,700mm wide, weighs 8.1kg, uses PVC-free polyester panels on a magnetic frame and comes with a padded bag. If you want a longer frame warranty, the Vision Value 3x3 pop up wall is £538.95 with a 5 year hardware warranty, and the case turns into a counter.

To be honest, our headline price is not the cheapest. Display Wizard, XL Displays and Discount Displays all list a 3x3 pop up for between £161 and £176 less. Once you add design, the gap closes: the Discount Displays budget stand plus their design service from £34.95 comes to £384.90, and the XL Displays fabric stand plus their £195 design charge comes to £534. If you can supply print-ready artwork yourself, one of the cheaper stands may suit you better.
What you also get with us is a Best Price Promise (find the same product cheaper and we will match it, then take an extra 10% off the difference) and FREE UK delivery on orders of £200 or more. Printed and dispatched within 5 days with express options available. Every product has at least a 1-year warranty, and we keep replacement parts and new graphics for everything we sell. We also run managed exhibition stand hire in England if you would rather not own a stand. Our reviews average 4.8 out of 5, but from 24 reviews, which is far fewer than the bigger names below.
Best for: small companies and startups that exhibit a few times a year, want help with the design and want to buy a stand they can reuse.
Display Wizard, best for the lowest headline price
Display Wizard had the cheapest printed 3x3 pop up of the five suppliers, at £335 ex VAT for the EventPro 3x3 straight with frame and graphics. It is 2,700mm wide and carries a 1 year hardware guarantee, and a wheeled case or lights cost extra. The company was founded in 2004, prints in-house in Lancashire and offers express production. When I checked on 5 November, the product page showed dispatch on 9 November for artwork approved that day. Delivery is charged by weight at checkout. It also offers fixed price stand design and build, and stand hire, for bigger shows.
Best for: buyers who have print-ready artwork and want the lowest price on a 3x3 pop up.
XL Displays, best for a fabric pop up on a budget
XL Displays sells a 3x3 fabric pop up for £339 ex VAT with a wheeled bag, printed and dispatched in 5 working days. Be aware that it is 2,260mm wide, about 440mm narrower than a 2.7m panel pop up, so it covers less of a 3m back wall, and the hardware warranty is 1 year. Its magnetic 3x3 pop up kit is £399 with a case and a 10 year hardware warranty. XL Displays shows a Trustpilot rating of Excellent from 24,829 reviews on its website, which is the largest review count here. Custom graphic design is £195 per design.
Best for: buyers who want a cheap fabric pop up, or a well-reviewed supplier with a long warranty on its panel pop up.

Discount Displays, best for a budget panel pop up
Discount Displays lists its Budget 3x3 pop up stand at £349.95 ex VAT with printed graphics, a 5 year hardware guarantee and 3 to 5 working days delivery. A free artwork check is included, and its pop up design service starts at £34.95. The company has traded since 1987, offers a price match promise and a 14 day money back guarantee on stock hardware, and sells a budget wheeled case for £99.95.
Best for: buyers on a tight budget who want a long hardware warranty on a basic pop up.
Marler Haley, best for fast production
Marler Haley quotes 48 to 72 hours standard production on pop up and banner stands, and its product page said dispatch within 4 working days of print-ready artwork. Its 3x3 curved pop up is £535 ex VAT for the frame and graphic panels, with a wheeled case at £165 and a light kit at £85 if you want them. Its website says it has 80 years of industry experience and shows an average of 4.59 from 166 Google reviews.
Best for: buyers with artwork ready who need a stand or banner produced quickly.
Exhibition stand builders for bespoke and custom exhibition stand projects
If your plot is large, space only or you want a custom structure built for you, a design and build company is a better choice than any of the online sellers above. These exhibition stand builders handle the exhibition stand design, build and installation, quote per project and do not publish prices, so ask two or three for a quote based on the same brief.
- Nimlok has worked on exhibition stands since 1970, says it delivers over 450 projects a year from its Wellingborough headquarters and offers bespoke hire, self-build modular and portable stand solutions. Best for: a fully managed stand at a major show.
- Quadrant2Design has been in business for 26 years, has completed around 10,000 projects and only makes custom-designed stands that can be reused at future shows. Best for: a custom modular stand you will use at several shows.
- Skyline Whitespace builds larger stands for international brands, is part of Creaplan Group and gained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification in 2024. Best for: big stands and shows abroad.
- GH Display is a family firm that has designed and built custom exhibition stands for nearly 50 years at venues including the NEC, Excel London, Manchester Central and ACC Liverpool. Best for: custom stands at the main UK venues.
- Clip covers design, build, logistics and storage between shows, and can store your other event materials too. Best for: a programme of shows where you want everything handled and stored.

Exhibition stand supplier vs stand builder
An exhibition stand supplier sells you a ready-made stand, such as a pop up, fabric wall or modular kit, that you put up yourself and own. A stand builder designs and builds a stand for one space, puts it up and takes it down for you, and either keeps the parts or stores them. For a 3x3 or 3x6 space, a supplier is usually far cheaper, and you can use the same stand at the next show. Our guide to modular vs custom exhibition stands covers where the line falls.

Which UK companies sell exhibition stands to buy rather than hire?
Stand Central, Discount Displays, XL Displays, Display Wizard and Marler Haley all sell exhibition stands to buy outright online, from roller banners and pop ups to full stand kits. Buying makes sense once you exhibit more than once or twice, because the frame keeps working and you only reprint the graphics when your branding changes. For a complete 3m x 3m setup, our 3m x 3m exhibition stand kit with a 2.4m fabric wall, counter, monolith and literature stand is £1,099.95 ex VAT, and you can see every option in our exhibition stands and pop up stands ranges.
Several of the design and build companies, Nimlok and Quadrant2Design included, will also sell you a bespoke exhibition stand rather than hire it, but you will need somewhere to store it between shows.
What to check before you order a stand for a trade show or event
Check what is in the box and what you will pay for artwork before you compare headline prices, and match the stand to your requirements and the visitors you expect. These are the points that changed the real cost most when I compared the five online suppliers:
- Frame width. A 3x3 can be 2.26m or 2.7m wide, which decides how much of a 3m back wall it covers.
- Artwork. Ask whether design is included, charged or left to you, and whether an expert checks your file before print.
- Graphic material. Panels, fabric and cardboard look and pack differently, so ask which material the price is for.
- Case and lights. Some prices are the frame and graphics only, and a wheeled case adds £99.95 to £165.
- Dispatch from artwork approval. Most lead times start when your print-ready artwork is approved, so allow for proofing.
- Delivery. Some suppliers deliver free over a set order value and others charge by weight at checkout.
- Warranty and spares. Frame warranties ran from 1 to 10 years, and it helps if the supplier sells replacement graphics and parts.
If you are exhibiting for the first time, my guide to choosing a stand for your first trade show goes through the stand itself, and my small budget stand guide shows what you can get at different price points.
Sustainable exhibition stands you can reuse or recycle
A reusable frame is the cheapest way to exhibit over time, because you only replace the graphics, and a recyclable stand helps if your customers or event organiser ask about waste. Our reusable and recyclable exhibition stands include cardboard stand kits, such as the 3m x 3m cardboard exhibition stand starter kit with a 2.67m wall, counter and banner stand at £949.95 ex VAT, which can go in the paper recycling after the show. If you want a frame that can be reconfigured for different spaces, our modular exhibition stands do that.

Frequently asked questions
How much does an exhibition stand cost for a small business?
A printed 3x3 pop up stand costs between £335 and £535 ex VAT at the five online suppliers in this guide, before any artwork charges. Our complete 3m x 3m kits with a back wall and counter start at £949.95 ex VAT, and a custom built stand from a stand builder is quoted per project.
Is it cheaper to buy or hire an exhibition stand?
For a small stand you will use more than once, buying is usually cheaper, because you pay once for a stand you keep, while hire is paid for every show. Hire makes more sense for a large stand at one show, or if you have nowhere to store it.
Which exhibition stand supplier is best for a startup?
For a startup, I would pick a supplier that includes the artwork design and sells a stand you can reuse, because you are unlikely to have a designer or print-ready files yet. That is where our FREE artwork design or proofing helps, and if you already have artwork, Display Wizard and Discount Displays have the lowest prices on a 3x3 pop up.
Does Stand Central install the stands it sells?
No. The stands we sell are designed for you to put up yourself, and our pop ups go up in minutes without tools. If you want a stand put up and taken down for you, our managed exhibition stand hire in England includes installation and breakdown.
