An A1 swing sign on a heavy wheeled base, built for forecourts, garden centres, events and pavements where an ordinary A-board would blow over. The poster panel sits on springs and rocks with each gust, which keeps it moving and catching the eye. It comes with your design printed on banner vinyl, ready to snap into the frame.

Stays put in the wind

Fill the moulded base with water or sand and the sign stands firm in winds up to 18mph (29km/h), on hard paving or softer ground. The springs let the panel move with the gusts instead of fighting them. To reposition it once filled, tilt the frame back onto its two wheels and roll it, holding the top corner of the frame rather than the base handle.

Quick poster changes

Each face has a snap-action frame that opens from the front, so you can lay in a new poster without taking the sign apart. A clear PVC cover goes over the print to protect it from rain and dirt. This sign comes with one printed graphic. The frame works on both faces, so ask us if you want a second graphic to show your message to people coming from the other way.

Packs flat

Empty the base and the sign comes apart and packs flat, so it stores neatly over winter or travels easily between sites.

Instructions and technical sheets

Supplying your own artwork

If you would rather send a finished file than use our free design service, set it up like this.

  • Use the template above. It is drawn at quarter size (1:4), so keep it at that size and do not change its proportions: we scale it up when we print.
  • Set your colours in CMYK and send a high quality print PDF.
  • Images look best at 72 to 125dpi at full print size, which is about 300 to 500dpi inside a quarter-size template.
  • Run your background 3mm past the cut line and keep text and logos inside the safe area.
  • Outline all fonts. Keep text at least 3mm high and lines at least 2mm thick.
  • Send one design per file. A double-sided graphic needs a file for each side.
  • Hide the instructions layer and remove the template lines before you export.

The template marks the finishing, such as eyelets and pole pockets. Keep text and logos clear of them.

How long will it take to arrive?

Printed and dispatched within 5 days with express options available. The 5 working days start once you've approved your artwork. If you approve after 2pm, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, they start from the next working day. UK delivery then takes 1-2 working days after dispatch.
