A 800mm wide x 1.5m tall printed banner flag that mounts on a lamppost, a pole or the front of a building. Use one to mark your entrance, or run a row of them along a street, a car park or a venue frontage for events, wayfinding and seasonal promotions. The kit includes the mounting arms and fixings along with your printed flag.

How it mounts

Two brackets fix to the post with cable ties and a mounting wire, and each bracket carries a glass fibre arm with aluminium castings. The arms adjust in height, so the same hardware takes the 1m, 1.5m and 2m flag lengths, and you can vary drops along a run of posts. The system has been tested in winds up to 40km/h.

Printed single-sided

Your flag has a pole pocket along the top and bottom edges that slides onto the arms, holding the graphic flat and tidy. Single-sided flags are dye-sublimation printed on flag knit. Double-sided flags are printed on banner vinyl so each face carries its own design. Changing the message later is just a case of sliding on a new printed flag.

Reuse and recycling

  • Your fabric graphic can be washed and reused, and when your design changes a new print fits the same frame.
  • We print by dye sublimation with water-based inks, so the colour is fused into the fabric and will not crack or peel.
  • Polyester fabric can be recycled through specialist textile recycling schemes, though not in household collections.

Instructions and technical sheets

Supplying your own artwork

If you would rather send a finished file than use our free design service, set it up like this.

  • Use the template above. It is drawn at quarter size (1:4), so keep it at that size and do not change its proportions: we scale it up when we print.
  • Set your colours in CMYK and send a high quality print PDF.
  • Images look best at 72 to 125dpi at full print size, which is about 300 to 500dpi inside a quarter-size template.
  • Run your background 3mm past the cut line and keep text and logos inside the safe area.
  • Outline all fonts. Keep text at least 3mm high and lines at least 2mm thick.
  • Send one design per file. A double-sided graphic needs a file for each side.
  • Hide the instructions layer and remove the template lines before you export.

Flag fabric lets most of the print show through, so a single-sided flag can be seen from both sides. Where a double-sided flag is offered, send one file for each side.

What's included in the kit?

Will it cope with wind?

It's made for outdoor use and the system has been tested in winds up to 40km/h.

Is it printed on one side or both?

This flag is printed single-sided. Single-sided flags are dye-sublimation printed on flag knit.

How long will it take to arrive?

Printed and dispatched within 5 days with express options available. The 5 working days start once you've approved your artwork. If you approve after 2pm, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, they start from the next working day. UK delivery then takes 1-2 working days after dispatch.
