The Flamingo is a budget-friendly flag that comes complete with its own base. It stands 2.68m tall with your design printed on a flag polyester graphic 700mm wide and 1.91m tall, ready for showrooms, shop doorways, exhibitions and outdoor events.

Everything in one kit

The black pole pushes together in sections and drops into a hollow black base. Fill the base with up to 15 litres of sand or water and it goes from 2.6kg empty to around 15kg, which keeps the flag upright. One person can have it standing in about five minutes.

The pole is made for this base, so use the two together rather than with other flag bases.

How the flag is made

The graphic is cut from a single piece of flag polyester and stitched along the top and one side into a right-angled shape with two pockets for the pole. A weighted rod sits in the bottom hem to keep the flag hanging neatly. It is single-sided only. Choose facing left or right when you send your artwork.

Good to know

Like most flags on a base, it can lean a little depending on which way it faces, so set it on level ground and fill the base fully. Take it down in winds above Beaufort force 4 (13 to 18mph). Wash the flag at 30° with no detergent and dry it fully before storing. Sun and traffic fumes fade fabric over time, and a flag flown every day usually lasts up to about six months. The base colour and finish can vary slightly from batch to batch.

Reuse and recycling

  • The poles and base are reused from event to event; when your design changes only the printed flag needs replacing.
  • Polyester fabric can be recycled through specialist textile recycling schemes, though not in household collections.

Does it come with a base?

How long will it take to arrive?

Printed and dispatched within 5 days with express options available. The 5 working days start once you've approved your artwork. If you approve after 2pm, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, they start from the next working day. UK delivery then takes 1-2 working days after dispatch.
