A large freestanding lightbox wall, 3m wide and 2.5m high, built on a deep 125mm aluminium profile. It suits exhibition stands, showrooms and busy retail spaces where you want a big, evenly lit graphic that stands on its own without fixing to a wall.

Bright light from the edges

The LEDs come pre-fitted inside the frame profile and light the fabric from its edges, giving a smooth, even glow right across your design. The drivers live inside the frame too, so there is no clutter of power packs on the floor, and the low-energy lighting stays cool in use.

Your graphic and the reverse

This version carries your printed graphic on the front face. A black blockout liner closes the back of the frame, so the light is pushed forward through your design and nothing glows out from behind. The frame will take a printed graphic on both faces too, so if it will stand in an open space with visitors passing on both sides, ask us for a double-sided version.

Building the frame

Each aluminium section is numbered, so the build follows a simple order. Corners and joins fix with an Allen key, reinforcing bars lock into the middle, and the lighting plugs together by its markings before you bolt on the steel feet. The silicone-edged graphic then pushes into the channel all the way round for a tight, flat finish. Changing to a new design later is just a case of pulling one graphic out and pressing the next one in.

Reuse and recycling

  • The aluminium frame is made to be put up and taken down event after event, and aluminium can be recycled at the end of its life.
  • Your fabric graphic can be washed and reused, and when your design changes a new print fits the same frame.
  • Polyester fabric can be recycled through specialist textile recycling schemes, though not in household collections.
  • The blockout liner stays in the lightbox from one campaign to the next; only the printed graphic changes.

Instructions and technical sheets

Supplying your own artwork

If you would rather send a finished file than use our free design service, set it up like this.

  • Use the template above. It is drawn at quarter size (1:4), so keep it at that size and do not change its proportions: we scale it up when we print.
  • Set your colours in CMYK and send a high quality print PDF.
  • Images look best at 72 to 125dpi at full print size, which is about 300 to 500dpi inside a quarter-size template.
  • Run your background 3mm past the cut line and keep text and logos inside the safe area.
  • Outline all fonts. Keep text at least 3mm high and lines at least 2mm thick.
  • Send one design per file. A double-sided graphic needs a file for each side.
  • Hide the instructions layer and remove the template lines before you export.

Your graphic has a thin silicone strip sewn round its edge that pushes into the frame channel, so the print is slightly larger than the area you see. The template shows both sizes: keep text and logos inside the safe area. The unprinted blockout liner behind your graphic needs no artwork.

How big is it when it's set up?

How is it lit?

Edge-lit LED strips come pre-fitted inside the frame and light the fabric from its edges. The drivers are housed in the frame too.

Can I change the graphic later?

Yes. The silicone-edged graphic pushes into a channel round the frame, so changing design is just a case of pulling one graphic out and pressing the next one in.

How long will it take to arrive?

Printed and dispatched within 5 days with express options available. The 5 working days start once you've approved your artwork. If you approve after 2pm, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, they start from the next working day. UK delivery then takes 1-2 working days after dispatch.
