A large outdoor banner frame that holds a 2.5m wide x 2.4m tall printed banner between two water-filled bases. It is built for events, exhibitions, forecourts, car parks and public spaces where a roller banner is too small to be noticed. It works outside and indoors.

Printed double-sided

This version is printed double-sided. A double-sided frame carries two separate graphics, one on each face, so it works in open spaces where people pass from both directions. Graphics are latex printed on 440gsm banner vinyl, made for short-term outdoor campaigns. The vinyl has no blockout layer, so in strong light a little show-through is possible.

How it goes together

Each base tank holds about 28 litres of water or sand. Telescopic aluminium uprights slot into the tanks and carry a top support pole, and the banner hangs between top and bottom bungee poles, with eyelets along both edges clipping onto plastic hooks. Springs at the base keep the banner taut. The uprights adjust without tools, so you can set the banner height to suit the site, up to an overall height of about 3m.

Wind and weighting

The frame is rated for winds up to 12mph (19km/h). In stronger winds you can strap extra weights to the base poles. For a longer run, several frames can stand side by side to form a wide wall of graphics.

Instructions and technical sheets

Supplying your own artwork

If you would rather send a finished file than use our free design service, set it up like this.

  • Use the template above. It is drawn at quarter size (1:4), so keep it at that size and do not change its proportions: we scale it up when we print.
  • Set your colours in CMYK and send a high quality print PDF.
  • Images look best at 72 to 125dpi at full print size, which is about 300 to 500dpi inside a quarter-size template.
  • Run your background 3mm past the cut line and keep text and logos inside the safe area.
  • Outline all fonts. Keep text at least 3mm high and lines at least 2mm thick.
  • Send one design per file. A double-sided graphic needs a file for each side.
  • Hide the instructions layer and remove the template lines before you export.

The template marks the finishing, such as eyelets and pole pockets. Keep text and logos clear of them.

If you approve after 2pm, or at a weekend or on a bank holiday, they start from the next working day. UK delivery then takes 1-2 working days after dispatch.
